- Bachelor’s degree in nursing required, master’s degree in nursing or a related area preferred.
- Current RN license in good standing required.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a managerial, administrative, or supervisory position.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in one of the following areas of nursing: community health, home visiting, family / maternal-child health, pediatrics, or mental health.
- Minimum one-year experience within the NFP program or other nurse home visitation programs within maternal and or child health
- Minimum one-year experience with reflective practice and motivational interviewing.
- Minimum one-year experience teaching adult learners, public speaking, presentation, consultation and/or nursing education.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and use data to inform decisions and evaluate program performance and ability to clearly communicate the meaning of data to a broad range of audiences.
- Professional knowledge of nursing practice and nursing processes (Nurse Practice Act).
- Communicate effectively in verbal, non-verbal, and written formats.
- Knowledge of client-centered, solution-focused, and strength-based care.
- Ability to travel at a minimum of 30% of the time (dependent upon business need).
- Salary is determined based on experience and skill set. Geographical adjustments may be considered.
- Range: $75,000-$85,000/year

Position Description
The primary purpose of the Nursing Practice Manager is to assist, support and mentor the Nurse-Family Partnership (NFP) programs’ supervisors, administrators, and state nurse consultants to assure quality and efficient implementation of the intervention. This position supports the skill development of network partners through webinars, virtual learning environments, site visits and the use of other teaching modalities. This position will be assigned to work with a designated portfolio of network partners and requires the ability to set priorities and work collaboratively with people across all levels of internal and external stakeholders.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
85 % Portfolio Management: Partners with NFP programs’ nurse supervisors, administrators, nurse home visitors and state nurse consultants in-person, via telecommunication, on a regular, scheduled basis and as needed to discuss clinical implementation, operational and quality implementation of the model to support model fidelity and achieve program outcomes. You will work within the network to help integrate knowledge into practice. The portfolio will range in number from 20-30 nurse supervisors across multiple states, tribal communities and territories. This role provides support to supervisors, nurse home visitors and administrators during site visits and across various platforms.
15% Program Collaboration: Provides technical expertise and guidance in assessing and development of policies, practices and procedures of innovations that meet the nursing practice needs of network partners.
