What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Verify insurance benefits for exams for OBL and LVI patients at imaging centers and hospitals
- Obtain authorizations and pre-certifications for OBL and LVI patients
- Effectively manage a task work list and order queue, inputting information accurately
- Communicate benefits and authorization issues to the OBL and LVI coordinator and medical director
- Schedule and reschedule patient appointments for OBL and LVI clinics as necessary

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Medical Insurance Field
- High school diploma or GED
- In-depth knowledge of interventional radiology procedures and obtaining procedure authorizations preferred
- Skills in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff, patients, and referring physician offices
- Ability to work independently
