About the Team:

We are recruiting Occupational Therapists for our Locality, Children’s, and Home Improvement Team.

This is a very exciting time to join Lambeth as occupational therapy is undergoing a programme of transformative change to meet the ambitious goals of our borough plan and support the integration of health and social care.

About the Role:

• In the Locality Teams, you will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team including social workers, occupational therapists and trusted assessors to complete comprehensive assessments to enable independence and where required, moving & handling assessments for older people and adults with physical disabilities who have difficulties managing activities of daily living in their homes.

• In the Home Improvement Team, you will work alongside other Occupational Therapists, Case Workers and Surveyors to complete comprehensive assessments primarily for home adaptations.

To be considered for interview, your CV and supporting statement will clearly evidence:

• HCPC registered.
• Able to complete person centred and proportionate OT assessments.
• Familiar with moving and handling equipment such as hoists and stand aids.
• Experienced in recommending minor and major adaptations.
• Aware of legislation underpinning practice.
