Job summary
This is an opportunity for an experienced and motivated Occupational Therapist to join Ty Grosvenor, a rehabilitation and acute service for men with a mental illness and/or personality disorder. The role involves promoting health and independence by delivering high-quality occupational therapy assessments and interventions, as well as providing clinical leadership, supervision, and consultation to the wider multidisciplinary team.
Main duties of the job
As an Occupational Therapist, you will be instrumental in demonstrating highly specialist expertise and specialist occupational therapy skills in areas such as occupational engagement, environmental adaptation, development, and maintenance of skills needed for meaningful participation. You will have experience in managing a designated caseload using theoretical and practical experience, completing assessments, planning, implementing interventions, and evaluating outcomes aligned to care plans. The role also includes responsibilities such as effective communication with a range of clinicians, managers, and stakeholders, providing leadership to junior staff, and ensuring the delivery of occupational therapy student placements.
