Department Overview:
The Morgridge Institute for Research Aquatics Center is a large biomedical aquaculture facility that provides husbandry services to care for fish. Currently we are seeking multiple zebrafish husbandry technicians to work during the academic year. Anticipated Start Date:

Work hours can be scheduled to accommodate academic courses but working at least one weekend shift is expected. Salary/Wage Range/Lump Sum:

Working towards a degree with a major in biomedical engineering. Other specialist areas will be considered if the candidate can demonstrate the necessary technical proficiencies.
Position Summary/Job Duties:
The Morgridge Institute for Research Aquatics Center is a large biomedical aquaculture facility that provides husbandry services to care for fish. Currently we are seeking multiple zebrafish husbandry technicians to work during the academic year. Duties include feeding fish, checking water quality, cleaning tanks, changing system filters, cleaning laboratory glassware, and other miscellaneous task.

Work is normally performed in a typical lab environment.
