Job Description
- Req#: 2251
- Assist in running equity transactions (such as IPOs, Rights Issues and Accelerated Bookbuildings), including investor marketing, bookbuilding and allocation
- Closely liaise with internal teams, including equity sales, research analysts and traders
- Support with the development of market analysis documents and presentation materials for colleagues, clients and investors, including pitch books, marketing and transaction documents, ongoing capital market updates and steering committee meetings
- Continuous collaboration with senior management across all work streams and tasks
- Conduct in-depth equity market and transaction analyses and maintain various financial databases
- Excellent academic background, holding a bachelor’s degree and/or currently enrolled in a Master’s program from a top university, ideally with a focus on Business, Finance, or STEM
- Excellent oral and written communication in English; fluency in German, Spanish, French or Italian a plus, but not necessary
- Previous internship experience within a top tier investment bank or corporate finance firm, preferably with exposure to ECM transactions and projects
- Analytical, adaptive team player with strong worth ethic, entrepreneurial mindset, and ability to manage multiple deadlines under high pressure
- At the time of commencing employment, successful applicants should have full working rights for the UK

Off cycle internship ( 3 months) Jan 2025 - Global Syndicate
The Syndicate desk leads the marketing and distribution of Equity Capital Markets (ECM) transactions for the bank. The role combines both corporate finance know-how with a focus on Equity markets and institutional investors. The team is responsible for sourcing investor demand and pricing IPOs, capital increases, secondary block trades and other transactions. This includes co-ordinating and leading the sales team to fill deal roadshows and source demand, managing and allocating transaction order books, and interacting with both investor and corporate clients.
