Join us as a Plant Office Assistant, where you’ll support administrative operations to keep our bread production facility running smoothly.       What You Will Be Doing

      As a Plant Office Assistant, you will provide administrative support to the facility, ensuring seamless communication between departments, maintaining records, and assisting with daily office functions.

      The position will be based in Richmond, CA.

      Main responsibilities

      • Prepare daily production schedules to support operational goals.
      • Assist with daily production closeout activities and documentation.
      • Track inventory, conduct cycle counts, and process required documentation.
      • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, schedule meetings, and prepare reports as needed.
      • Learn and work with new systems and software based on business needs.
      • Act as a backup for operational roles in production, shipping, and receiving.
      • Maintain accurate documentation and manage data records efficiently.
      • Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
      • Handle correspondence with plant personnel and external customers.
      • Provide general office support to plant management and production teams.

      What we are searching for .

      • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) with skills beyond basic data entry.
      • Ability to create, maintain, and improve operational templates.
      • Willingness to learn and utilize new systems based on business needs.
      • Previous experience in a manufacturing or food production environment is a plus.
      • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
      • Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
      • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
      • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
      • Team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
      • Ability to work with employees at all levels, including hourly associates and management.
      • Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
      • Must be reliable and dependable.
