      We are currently seeking an Office Services summer student to join our Office Services team. Reporting to the Supervisor, Office Services, the successful candidate will have exceptional organizing skills and is motivated to work in a fast-paced environment and take on new challenges. The work term will commence in May 2024 and last for a 4-month period. This position is based in Calgary.

      RESPONSIBILITIES:

      Previous student responsibilities and accomplishments include the following:

      • Full reception and mailroom coverage
      • Present a positive and professional image of the organization to all visitors, inquiries, and other interactions
      • Point of contact for scheduling, coordinating, and printing all print requests
      • Updating floor plans as needed for communication to the company
      • Coordinating team functions and events
      • Managing inventory and organizing various promotional items, as well as managing the company-wide distribution
      • Working with Quadreal on fire warden, AED Training and overall building life safety process
      • Vendor contract and bid analysis
      • Other special projects as required

      QUALIFICATIONS:

      • The position is ideally suited for a second- or third-year student currently enrolled in Business Administration or related Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized post-secondary institution
      • Proficient (intermediate to advanced skills) with operating Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Outlook)
      • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
      • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team, communicating with individuals at all levels of the organization
      • Excellent organizational, multi-tasking and time management abilities
      • Customer service focus and the ability to understand and accurately relay customer needs
