NAPA Canton Auto Supply has been providing parts to the wholesale and retail consumer for the past 23 years. This position is through an independently owned and operated store.
Job Description
Job Duties for Office Support and Bookkeeping,
NAPA Canton Auto Supply, 220 Albany Turnpike, Canton Village, Building 11, Canton, CT
--accounts receivable, post payments, prepare deposits
--daily cash balancing to computer reports
--accounts payable, match invoices and credits to statements, prepare payments
--payroll, send hours to payroll service
--maintain customer resale records
--maintain files and records for above
Qualifications
Specific skills required:
--Quick Books proficiency
--knowledge and practice of general accounting principles
--ability to work independently, and take initiative
--attends to detail
--strong organizational skills
--common sense and understanding of how businesses function
--strong communication skills, will be involved with customers, vendors, and employees
--creative thinker
--basic Word and Excel. Graphics experience would be a bonus
Additional Information
Experience is preferred. This is a PART TIME 4 hours per day position in a casual and fast-paced work environment.
