Your Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

As an Offshore Logistics Package Manager your primary responsibilities will be:

• Leading the construction of Offshore Wind Farm installation logistics for RWE Renewables’ future projects in a team of experts for Foundation Installation, Cable Installation, Wind turbine installation and other areas of offshore wind farm installation
• Developing the Logistics Package in Offshore Wind Farm Development projects
• Technical Management of project engineers
• Overseeing and leading the preparations of tenders and the contract negotiations for installation of all tier one packages of a project
• Overseeing and leading all marine and logistics related aspects of the project
• Oversee offshore construction site management and marine coordination
• Driving best practice for time scheduling, budget control and interdisciplinary coordination of all offshore construction activities
• Driving best practice for budgetary proposal processes with domestic and international offshore tier one contractors
• Support procurement with preparation of contracts and vessel charters with offshore contractors
• Supporting cross-project review and knowledge exchange
• Discover synergies between different projects end actively share knowledge with other projects to get the best results for the complete portfolio
• Oversee technical contract management after contract finalization
• Technical and commercial assessment of different installation methodologies
• Interface Management to foundation, electrical/cable, and turbine package, partner companies participating in projects together with RWE as well as to authorities and governmental bodies

Your Profile:

• Degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Marine Logistics or closely related areas
• Experience in development and construction projects in cable, foundation and turbine installation
• Deeply founded understanding of contracts used if offshore construction
• Previous project Management experience in offshore logistics
• High intercultural communication and negotiation skills
• Proven record of accomplishment in offshore wind project management and package management
• Dedicated mind, self-starting and highly motivated
• A flexible approach to work and willingness to travel frequently in Europe
• Ability to work offshore and at heights
• Fluent spoken and written English

Desirable Skills:

• Demonstrable experience of working effectively in an international business
• Experience with power to x
• Experience with decommissioning planning
