What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide expertise and oversight for projects in workforce development, disaster recovery, and economic transformation
- Network with senior stakeholders in workforce and economic development, education, and training
- Support writing and presentations for deliverables, analyses, and stakeholder publications
- Contribute to strategic consulting support for workforce development agencies
- Participate in discussions around employment and economic strategies

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in public policy, political science, social work, or a related field
- Minimum of 12 years of experience with Federal and/or state workforce agencies and related entities
- Proven track record in workforce development, economic development, and career pathways initiatives
- Experience in employer-driven workforce innovations such as apprenticeships and training programs
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

- Experience presenting complex information in a compelling manner
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a core team
- Familiarity with disaster recovery workforce efforts and inclusive economic transformation
- Established relationships with community colleges and nonprofits in the workforce sector
- Strong presentation and communication skills
