Onboarding & Sales Specialist Department: Customer Experience

We're seeking an energetic and driven
SMB Sales & Onboarding Specialist focused on small to mid-sized businesses to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll combine your expertise in consultative selling with hands-on onboarding to ensure our small and medium business (SMB) customers are set up for success from day one. You'll work closely with prospective customers during the sales cycle, guide them through the onboarding process, and ensure a smooth transition to our platform.
Key Responsibilities SMB Sales - Engage with SMB prospects to understand their unique needs and pain points.
- Conduct product demonstrations tailored to the prospect's use case.
- Manage the sales cycle from initial outreach to closing, ensuring timely follow-ups and clear communication.
- Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Collaborate with marketing to nurture leads through campaigns and outreach.
Onboarding & Implementation - Serve as the primary point of contact for new customers during the onboarding phase.
- Conduct onboarding sessions to ensure customers understand how to use the platform effectively.
- Configure customer accounts to match their specific requirements.
- Proactively address potential challenges to minimize time-to-value.
- Help develop and refine onboarding materials (e.g., guides, tutorials, FAQs) to improve the onboarding process.
Cross-Functional Collaboration - Provide customer feedback to product and engineering teams to inform feature improvements.
- Contribute to sales and customer success strategy discussions to drive revenue growth and customer retention.
Qualifications - 2-4 years of experience in SMB sales, customer onboarding, customer success, or a related role.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to learn and explain complex products.
- Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and onboarding tools.
- Passion for delivering a best-in-class customer experience.
- Experience in SaaS, no-code/low-code platforms, or software training is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with onboarding workflows and tools like Intercom, Drift, or similar.
- Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
