      Position Overview

      As an Onboarding Specialist at Stellar Virtual, you will play a key role in welcoming students and families to our online community. Your main focus will be guiding families through our platforms and ensuring they have a smooth and supportive onboarding experience by helping them understand our tools and resources for success.

      Essential Position Functions

      • Guide students from registration approval through their first login, ensuring a smooth and positive transition experience.
      • Track and monitor student logins for each new cohort, proactively reaching out to address any initial access challenges and support successful platform entry.
      • Contact parents to communicate system requirements for student login, ensuring readiness and preventing access issues.
      • Assist students in navigating our platforms, providing guidance to ensure full understanding and confidence in system use.
      • Coordinate with the academic team once students have logged in to enable a seamless course start and alignment with instructional goals.
      • Deliver timely and effective support to resolve activation issues or login-related concerns quickly.
      • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously improve the onboarding process and enhance the user experience.
      • Maintain precise records of onboarding activities, tracking progress and reporting on key metrics for program success.
      • Perform other duties as assigned to support the team's goals and ensure a high-quality experience for students and families.

      Knowledge, Skills & Attributes

      • A minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience is preferred, with a strong preference for experience in a virtual education environment, which will be prioritized over candidates without this background.
      • Demonstrated expertise in student onboarding and effective family outreach, ensuring a smooth start and ongoing support for students and their families.
      • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively; strong written and verbal communication skills that facilitate clear, empathetic interactions.
      • Proficiency with virtual learning tools and online platforms, with the capability to support and guide users across multiple systems.
      • Advanced proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive, Gmail), with extensive experience utilizing these tools for collaboration, reporting, and communication.


      Education & Certification Requirements

      • A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
      • A bachelor's degree in a related field or industry is preferred but not required.
