What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Maintain an efficient cancer database for patients diagnosed and/or treated with cancer
- Ensure compliance with the American College of Surgeons requirements for the cancer network
- Meet productivity goals related to abstracting patient data
- Assist with annual follow-up of patients in the database and case finding
- Collaborate with clinical teams to gather accurate patient information

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Associate's degree required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical Records Data
- Certification as an Oncology Data Specialist (ODS) within 3 years of hire
- Knowledge of cancer registry and treatment processes
- Strong data entry skills and attention to detail

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Certification as a Certified Tumor Registrar (CTR)
- Experience with cancer registry software and data management
- Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance standards
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting
