What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Maintain an efficient cancer database in accordance with the American College of Surgeons requirements
- Ensure productivity goals are consistently met regarding patient data abstraction
- Assist in maintaining annual follow-up for patients within the database
- Perform case finding to identify patients diagnosed and/or treated for cancer
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate data management

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Associates degree required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical Records Data
- Certification as an Oncology Data Specialist (ODS) within 3 years from date of hire
- Knowledge of cancer registry and data entry processes
- Familiarity with CTR and Certified Tumor Registrar standards

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with cancer treatment data management
- Familiarity with the National Cancer Registrars Association guidelines
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
