What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform medical record reviews and capture comprehensive patient histories for cancer patients
- Ensure accurate and timely data abstraction for all reportable cancer cases
- Consult with healthcare providers to obtain and clarify patient information
- Maintain compliance with cancer program accreditation requirements
- Identify improvement opportunities and participate in departmental activities

What is Required (Qualifications):
- ODS-Certified
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Level 2 Excel/Word, basic PowerPoint)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 5 years of experience as an Oncology Data Specialist
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Technology Management or related field
- Experience with Epic, Mosaiq, and Cancer Registry software systems
