      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Conduct comprehensive medical record reviews for cancer patients, ensuring accurate data abstraction
      - Collaborate with physicians and staff to achieve common goals in cancer data management
      - Identify reportable cancer cases using various resources and maintain compliance with accreditation standards
      - Document treatment guidelines and reasons for non-concordance within patient abstracts
      - Participate in special projects and assist with cross-coverage in department activities as needed

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - ODS-Certified
      - Minimum of 3 years of experience in oncology data management
      - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Level 2 Excel/Word, basic PowerPoint)
      - Excellent verbal and written communication skills

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - 5 years of experience as an Oncology Data Specialist
      - Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Technology Management or similar field
      - Experience with Epic, Mosaiq, and Cancer Registry Software systems
