To be successful in this role, you will be a GPhC-registered pharmacist, ideally with experience in a hospital or home healthcare setting. Much of the role involves accuracy checks, so strong attention to detail is essential, as is the ability to stay focused for long periods. Qualifications, Training & Experience:
- Experience working on Oncology wards
- Experience clinically screening Oncology SACT prescriptions
- IV Oncology experience
- Involvement in ordering chemotherapy
- Proficiency with electronic prescribing systems (e.g., iQemo)
- Ideally, a post-graduate qualification in Oncology
- Evidence of BOPA training, such as the SACT Passport (preferred)
- Experience in clinical decision-making
- Experience training and upskilling pharmacy team members
