What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as the primary point of contact for healthcare providers, addressing their needs and providing valuable product information
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of oncology products and competitive positioning to effectively communicate with key stakeholders
- Analyze trends within a complex healthcare buying environment and develop strategic account plans
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a consistent and integrated customer experience
- Influence and educate customers on the value of innovative oncology therapies and clinical trial options
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree with 6-8 years of sales experience, or a minimum of high school diploma with at least 10 years of equivalent experience
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as required for the role
- 0 - 2 years of oncology field sales experience
- Professional experience in the healthcare/scientific field, which may include pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical devices
- Strong understanding of cancer staging, treatment options, and the impact of clinical trials
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Documented history of strong performance in a sales or marketing role within oncology
- 2+ years of experience in oncology field sales with a therapeutic agent
- Clinical oncology experience across multiple solid tumors
- Proven ability to analyze complex account interdependencies
- Experience collaborating with diverse stakeholders in healthcare settings
