- Provide a high level of student outreach and connect with students, academic advisors and team leads on a frequent basis to ensure student success
- Be engaging, offering an increased and innovative presence in the classroom
- Provide substantial student feedback and offer a quick turnaround on grades
- Master's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field from an accredited higher education institution
- 2+ years professional experience in computer science, client/server development, software engineering or software development
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, Java, C, and Assembly.
- Experience with integrated development environments (IDEs) like Eclipse or Visual Studio.
- Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Neural Networks.
- Hands-on experience with Jupyter Notebooks for data science and machine learning applications.
- Full Stack Development expertise, including MEAN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, Angular, Node.js).
- AWS Cloud Development and deployment experience.
- Strong understanding of front-end and back-end web technologies, including JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
- Database management and SQL proficiency.
- Linux operating system experience, including command-line scripting and server administration.
- Teaching experience or significant industry experience as determined
- A passion for inspiring students who have faced obstacles in their education

The opportunity
Southern New Hampshire University is looking for faculty to teach in our Computer Science program. Our online faculty provide high-quality, "real" scenario-based learning experiences and support learners as they work toward their educational goals. Online faculty members work in a collaborative learning environment, partnering with learners, student advising and members of the academic team to ensure that each learner has the support you need to gain real-world skills applicable to their present and future careers.

Compensation
The standard compensation for courses is $2,200 per 8-week undergraduate course and $2,500 per 10-week graduate course. Actual pay is determined at the time of course assignment based on discipline.Exceptional benefits (because you’re exceptional)
