- Acts as an incisive, effective creative thinker bringing business and consulting experience to client engagements and applies expert skills in communication, research, problem-solving, and analysis to client work.
- Distills complex strategic concepts and organizational pain points into tangible next steps and recommendations that are easily digestible for C-level clients.
- Takes on significant responsibilities, working closely with clients and making a major contribution to every engagement, including leading smaller engagements.
- Leverages business context to analyze and improve complex business models.
- Explains and reviews analysis/findings with team members and client personnel.
- Manages client expectations and project scope actively with an approach designed to engender project success and extend goodwill.
- Identifies implications of proposed solutions on people, processes, technology, strategy and structure.
- Leads Acquis and external resources on both small and large-scale client engagements.
- Manages in a hands-on capacity utilizing detailed knowledge of the engagement situation while also maintaining focus on the larger context and overall project view.
- Builds an effective business case for proposed solutions.
- Converts existing Acquis engagements, client relationships, and goodwill into additional potential opportunities.
- Thrives in an entrepreneurial, results-oriented, small business environment.
- BS or BA (Business, Finance, Engineering, Computer Sciences preferred)
- MBA is not required but would be beneficial in this role; only MBAs with prior consulting experience are considered
- Enterprise Operating Model Strategy Organizational Design, including function-specific Org. Design tactics across sales, marketing, product development, R&D, Finance, HR, IT, supply chain/logistics, Procurement

POSITION OVERVIEW
Acquis Consulting Group is seeking intelligent and skilled consultants to contribute to our Operating Model practice. Candidates must have 3-5 years’ experience as a management consultant including experience in operating model strategy, process improvement, organizational design, and (or) growth strategy. Our Operating Model Practice is a rising area of focus for Acquis, which means the ideal candidate will be a pragmatic self-starter that is passionate about operating model and growth strategy work. As an Operating Model Consultant, you should have experience advising clients on data-driven operating model strategies to achieve their strategic, financial and operational goals. In this role, you will combine critical thinking, operating model frameworks, and human centered design tactics to help clients work through their toughest strategic trade-offs and operational barriers. Other required experience includes client interaction, project planning, and project management.

Actual compensation is influenced by many factors including individual skill set, experience, specific office location, and qualifications. For positions located in New York City only, the range of starting pay for this role is $72k-$168k. This role may also be eligible for a discretionary bonus or performance-based incentives.
