      Job Description Summary

      Operates as a functional specialist to support the wider group through leading assigned teams as appropriate.
      Will have significant and in depth knowledge of ensuring the group’s current and future resilience, to meet both customer needs and regulatory requirements, developing Operational Resilience strategy, framework and capability, scenario exercising, and accountability through appropriate governance, including business continuity management, incident assessment and response.

      SALARY: £62,874 - £69,860

      LOCATION: Manchester, Chester, Halifax or Leeds

      HOURS: Full time

      WORKING PATTERN: Hybrid, 40% (or two days) in an office site

      About this opportunity

      An exciting opportunity has arisen for someone passionate about Operational Resilience.

      You'll help the Group ‘maintain the expected through the unexpected’. You’ll be crafting rich insights to reach better service outcomes for our customers through effective prioritisation of our investment and decision making.

      The role will involve setting the vision and strategy for the Group’s Operational Resilience, running and coordinating its implementation, and bringing insight on the impact our customers see and feel from the decisions we make. We play a critical role in supporting the Group’s most senior leaders including Chief Information Officers and the Group Executive Committee to deliver their objectives.

      What you’ll need

      • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to adapt communication styles in aid of different audiences.
      • Experience of engaging senior leaders to convey sophisticated information and influencing their decision making.
      • A strong understanding of Operational Resilience capabilities and processes to drive robust service outcomes, including access to attain the latest regulatory and industry developments.
      • Strong data analytic skills, accomplishment of providing insights to senior audiences.
      • Experience of working in a highly regulated environment.
