      The purpose of this position is to design and maintain company forms and provide customer support to resolve system issues, process system transactions, conduct system checks, provide system access and perform updates to various maintenance files. This position is also responsible for coding and keying the companies Manual Policies in ODE. This position partners with IT and BSU staff on projects and system activity as needed. Individual(s) in this position should possess technical skills, strong attention to detail and be a proven team member.

      Responsibilities:

      • Design and maintain company forms for E&S, CL and PL using Word, OpenText Extreme, Mozart, Documerge or Studio DocuMaker.
      • Code and Key manual policies in ODE mainframe system to feed to billing.
      • Rate and Issue New Business quotes, renewals and endorsements for Manual policies.
      • Provide support to end users, post implementation, for various IT solutions within area of support. Work with IT partners to conduct system maintenance checks when needed.
      • Provides customer support for Billing, E&S, Commercial and Personal Lines pertaining to maintenance, processing and issuance of automated insurance transactions.
      • Triage error reports and communicate to appropriate BSU or IT partners using RTS, Service Now or Azure to develop solutions for front-end and back-end processing errors.
      • Maintain and administer system access for the organization for our core insurance systems.
      • Conduct and complete various assigned administrative table updates (ie: electronic forms library, city/county & VIN).
      • Process policy corrections, renewal instructions and mail merge letters. Conduct any manual data entry needed for the organization to ensure accurate policy generation.
      • Provide support for Agency Interface upload / download.
      • Monitor regional support mailboxes and generate new quote proposals for commercial lines policies in CLAS.
      • Provide administrative support for various operational tasks as needed, such as sorting and distributing policy output, OFAC monitoring and processing, and mailings.

      Qualifications:

      • Excellent technical skills along with proven problem solving ability and proof reading skills.
      • Experience in Word required.
      • Prior Mainframe experience preferred.
      • Knowledge of Open Text Extreme a plus.
      • Prior experience in forms design preferred.
      • Excellent PC automation knowledge & skills Strong communication & presentation skills.
      • High School diploma with 3+ years of Insurance Related Business/Technical Experience or College Degree in related field.
      • Must be detail-oriented team player with the ability to initiate positive change.

      Salary Range: $45,700.00-$75,500.00. The actual base salary is based on geographic location, and the range is representative of salaries for this role throughout Selective's footprint. Additional considerations include the candidate's qualifications and experience.
