      Job Description:

      Department: Office of the Provost

      Reports to: Chief of Staff

      Key Responsibilities

      • Front office greeter/receptionist

        • Maintain and support a professional and welcoming atmosphere in the reception area for the Provost’s Suite

      • Help organize Vice Provosts’ daily activities, including calendar management and call screening for Vice Provost for Undergraduate Excellence and the Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs

      • Supervise Work Study and other student employees

      • Assist with Academic and Student Life signature events and projects, including:

        • Student Commencement Speaker selection

        • First-Year Academic Convocation (space reservations, work orders, etc.)

        • Commencement programs and materials

      • Provide administrative support for Provost and other Academic and Student Life administrators as requested, including special projects

      • Administrative duties as needed (purchase requisitions, expense reports, etc.)

      • Maintain office and kitchen supply inventory

      • Other duties as assigned

      This is an in-person position is based at Fairfield University’s Fairfield, CT campus and is not eligible for immigration assistance.
