      Job Summary

      The Operations Assistant (OA) is responsible for supporting the daily management of the France A. Córdova Recreational Sports Center, by maintaining a high standard of facility cleanliness, assisting with event setup and tear down, and aiding with risk management response. The Operations Assistant will develop professional skills, have opportunities for promotion, and provide exceptional customer service to all members, guests, and staff.

      • Operations Assistant $9.50 per hour
      • 9 to 12 hours per week.
      • Alternating Weekends Required.

      Job Responsibilities

      • Ensure all policies and procedures are enforced
      • Maintain high standard of cleanliness throughout the facility
      • Maintain safety and risk management standards of the department
      • Perform daily upkeep of supplies throughout the facility
      • Assist the Operation Manager with facility set up and tear down
      • Maintain cleanliness of equipment and cardio, track, and weight areas
      • Report equipment needs and maintenance repairs
      • Maintain organization of weight room, track, and cardio area equipment
      • Have basic knowledge and understanding of all Emergency Action Plan scenarios
      • Assist the Operations Manager and Specialist in risk management and event management.

      Prerequisites and Requirements

      • Valid or ability to obtain American Red Cross (or equivalent) CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers, First Aid, and Blood borne Pathogens certification or ability to obtain upon hire within first 30 working days.
      • Punctuality and ability to attend mandatory meetings/trainings.
