What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Oversee daily operations and provide direction, training, and mentoring to staff
- Monitor compliance with regulatory standards within the Coding Department
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and implement workflow processes for continuous improvement
- Prepare division schedules and collaborate with management on performance reviews
- Analyze performance data and identify opportunities to reduce coding denials

What is Required (Qualifications):
- RHIT, RHIA, or CCS credentialed
- Minimum of 5 years of coding experience in an acute healthcare setting
- Leadership experience in a supervisory role
- Strong critical thinking skills and ability to work with minimal supervision
- Capability to perform effectively in a stressful environment

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- 7 years of coding experience in an acute healthcare setting
