- Responsible for planning, scheduling and supervising personnel, activities, equipment, and material to ensure that all customer orders are delivered on a timely basis.
- Implement Lean Enterprise philosophies throughout the manufacturing facility.
- Develops and communicates key reporting measures on all critical operational issues.
- Coordinate and monitor the work of various departments involved in production, production scheduling, and product safety stock levels.
- Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, and training employees and providing personal growth opportunities.
- Monitor performance and implement improvements.
- Manage quality and quantity of employee productivity.
- Manage safety stock levels and production lead times.
- Provide technical support where necessary.
- Formulate and implement departmental and organizational policies and procedures to maximize output.
- Monitor adherence to rules, regulations and procedures.
- Develops goals for team members to align with organizational goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Bachelors degree in business administration, operations management, industrial technology or industrial engineering required.
- In lieu of degree, equivalent work experience in a supervisory or management capacity for a minimum of 5 years required
- 5+ years of Manufacturing experience required
- Must be a good communicator, work well with people, and be able to work in a fast paced, continually changing environment.
- Must have critical thinking and problem-solving skills, be able to plan and organize, and make sound decisions quickly.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring and improving the performance, productivity, efficiency and profitability of departmental and organizational operations through the provision of effective methods and strategies to meet internal and external customer requirements.
