What is the Role?

We are seeking a highly motivated, organized and out of the box individual looking to break into tech. As an Operations Manager at Zencity, you will join our Business Operations team and be responsible for making sure our day-to-day financial, business operations and administrative matters are handled professionally and expeditiously. In your role, you will provide value to numerous key stakeholders and you’ll gain a strong foothold in a growing and exciting innovative environment.

Responsibilities:

• Fully own the administrative side of our business operations, by supporting our go-to-market, and finance and operations teams.
• Be responsible for providing our go-to-market teams with the materials needed to bring negotiated deals to a close, including providing and maintaining business registrations and insurance policies.
• Improve the company’s cash flow and cash position by streamlining our invoicing and collection efforts to ensure the company is paid on time.
• Manage subscription / software packages for key business software, including leading the on- and off-boarding processes.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve operational performance and efficiency.
• Assist with producing company formal documents and policies.

Requirements

• At least 2-years of professional experience (part or full time), preferably in project-management or operational roles.
• Native English speaker with excellent writing and speaking skills - a must!
• Exceptional organizational skills and highly attentive to details.
• Ability to follow and formulate processes.
• Proactive and independent, always looking to make improvements and not settle for the status quo.
• A very strong work ethic and willingness to assume further responsibilities over time.
• Availability to work into US West Coast business hours if required
• Advantage: Strong proficiency with Office / GSuite, project management tools such as Asana / Monday.com.
• Advantage: University or college degree in Finance, Management, Business Administration or similar field
