      Montecito Bank & Trust is seeking a full-time Operations Support Specialist to join the Bank Operations Department. The Operations Support Specialist will deliver a World Class Experience by providing excellent customer service to all internal and external customers through the completion of operational questions, concerns, and issues. The Operations Support Specialist will process all operational tasks including, but not limited to, debit card tasks, new account or maintenance callback, dormant accounts, adjustments, collections, change of address processes, legal processing, reclamations, EIM, and wires.


      Minimum Requirements, Activities, & Responsibilities

      Education and Experience:

      • High school degree or equivalent required
      • Minimum of 1 year up to 3 years of previous banking operations or branch experience, or similar experience, required

      Essential Functions:

      • Process all assigned operational tasks in a quick, accurate, and efficient manner
      • Provide operational support to all internal and external customers
      • Identify areas of needed process improvement and offer potential solutions
      • Work collaboratively with business partners within the Bank
      • Communicate openly with peers, supervisors, and managers
      • Assist branch and department associates with routine operational inquiries ensuring resolution
      • Maintain user knowledge of all systems needed to process operational tasks
      • Provide back-up to Service Center as needed
      • Other duties as assigned

      Skills and Capabilities:

      • Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English proficiently
      • Must be capable of regular, reliable, and timely attendance
      • Ability to relate to people in an open, friendly, and professional manner
      • Must be able to work effectively either independently or as part of a team
      • Must be able to effectively handle multiple, simultaneous, and changing priorities
      • Must be able to demonstrate highest levels of customer service and confidentiality with internal and external customers
      • Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
      • Thorough knowledge of standard computer applications including Microsoft Suite
      • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills
