- Participate and manage the delivery of the Oracle PBCS and Workforce Management implementation projects.
- Organize and conduct formal workshops with the client displaying knowledge of the application and the business environment while defining the customer’s needs.
- Lead the solution design by consulting with the customer on budget preparation procedures, MIS preparation, Drivers based budgeting, IFRS reporting, etc.
- Configure the application according to the design decision.
- Create applications, metadata, forms, reports, Business Rules, Calculation Scripts, Groovy Scripts, Integration, users, provisions, security and approval process flow.
- Design and test the integration with other systems.
- Assist junior consultants with the creation of detailed design specifications for product extensions.
- Lead the cut-over plan and support the data migration process from a functional point of view.
- Take the lead on understanding new products or new features.
- Demonstrate expertise in delivering functional and technical solutions for complex customer engagements.
- Define implementation roadmap and produce project estimates with the project managers.
- Effectively collaborate with customers, internal stakeholders (onsite & offshore) for the efficient execution of the project.
- Depending on the need, managing multiple projects with the support of an extended team available offshore.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Oracle Cloud Fusion EPM.
- 5+ years of experience implementing or optimizing Oracle EPM which include the following:
- EPBCS
- Narrative Reporting
- Data Management
- ODI
- Strong knowledge of the financial processes, including experience with financial planning, close, consolidations, financial reporting, and FP&A
- Deep understanding of FP&A processes including bottom-up planning, scenario modeling, allocations, account reconciliations, intercompany eliminations, currency translation, and top-side adjustments
- Experience implementing large-scale ERP solutions.
- Customer Management
- Ability to understand customer urgency and sensitivity of the problem
- Strong Verbal and Written communication skills
- Ability to speak confidently and communicate clearly with the customer
- Strong Adherence to Process and being a process champion
- Ability to work well in a demanding customer environment and delight customers
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of industry best practices and standards.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deliverables simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively.
- Oracle certifications are a plus.
- Willingness to travel up to approximately 25% - 50% of the time.
