      Job Title: Oracle HCM Account Executive

      Classification: Exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA)

      Reports to: Executive Vice President

      Work Location/Travel: Work is remote or on-site at client location. Percentage of travel to client or prospect sites, where the travel occurs, such as locally or in specific countries or states, and whether the travel is overnight, varies.

      Essential Functions:

      • Meet, and hopefully exceed, services booking and revenue quotas
      • Accurately forecast and deliver on sales within a specified North American sales territory
      • Forge strong working relationships with Oracle HCM Account Executives, sales leadership, and partner management teams
      • Actively pursue and hunt for new business opportunities in accounts


      • Network within the industry, market, and accounts to bring new client opportunities to the Apex IT consulting account teams
      • Identify/develop key partner strategies for specific customers and market segments, including but not limited to ISV and fellow complementary Systems Integrator (SI) partnerships
      • Provide high content contributions to joint product and consulting opportunities around Apex IT solution areas identified above
      • Communicate effectively at all client levels
      • Quickly grasp client business and technical requirements and fit consulting solutions around those specific needs
      • Manage all phases of the business development cycles to successful close (including RFP responses, proposal development, implementation estimating, scope construction, and client presentations)
      • Proactively approach the market segment through active leadership in industry and community organizations
      • Add industry specific and technology solution expertise to the sales process
      • Maintain and nurture client relationships to ensure additional business
      • Solution application sizing efforts in order to build out an implementation timeline, scope and resource plan leading into budgetary estimates and statements of work
      • Review master service agreements prior to Legal's review to identify gaps or key points of negotiation


      Duties/Responsibilities:

      • Maintain and pursue continuing education opportunities, such as training and certification exams.
      • Participate on internal projects.
      • Provide expertise and help to others, as needed, on projects.
      • Performs other duties as assigned.

      • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.


      Work Environment:

      The work environment is remote or on-site at a client/prospect location. While remote, employees are expected to secure office space for themselves with a professional background (including virtual backgrounds) and noise level. A reliable and consistent internet connection is required.

      Physical Requirements:

      • Prolonged periods sitting or standing at a desk and working on a computer.
      • Bending, sitting lifting, driving.


      Position Type and expected hours of work:

      Full-time work during Apex IT business hours and, at times, outside of business hours, is required.

      Required Education and Experience:

      • Bachelor's Degree [in Sales, Business Administration, or related field is a plus]


      • Minimum 5 years of experience with selling software technology solutions or consulting services
      • Willingness to travel up to 20%


      Preferred Experience:

      • Prior experience in business application sales, preferably in Oracle HCM Cloud
      • Proven track record of successful solutions-oriented services sales
      • Demonstrated ability to sell large-scale and complex systems to key accounts
      • Strong knowledge of competitive products, solutions, and sales tactics
      • Consistent overachievement of goals
      • Good written, verbal, and presentation skills
      • Ability to work well as part of a sales team in a fast paced environment
      • Quick learner and strong problem-solving skills
      • This is a direct sales role. Superior communication skills (both for internal and external clients), very strong leadership qualities, and team oriented business values are essential.
