      Job Title: Oracle HR Helpdesk (HRHD) Functional Consultant

      Classification: Exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA)

      Reports to: President

      Work Location/Travel: Work is remote or on-site at client location. The percentage of travel to client sites, where the travel occurs, such as locally or in specific countries or states, and whether the travel is overnight, varies.

      Job Summary:

      As an Oracle HR Helpdesk (HRHD) Functional Consultant, you will play a critical role in implementing, configuring, and supporting Oracle HR Helpdesk solutions for our clients. You will work closely with clients to understand their HR needs, provide expert guidance, and ensure successful implementation and operation of Oracle HRHD modules.

      Essential Functions:

      · Collaborate with clients to assess their HR processes, identify needs, and recommend Oracle HRHD solutions to address their specific needs.

      · Develop and document functional specifications based on client requirements, and design custom solutions within the Oracle HRHD framework.

      · Configure Oracle HRHD modules and maintain configuration workbook

      · Guide clients through OTBI Analytics and Dashboard design

      · Guide clients through application security design and implementation and testing

      · Build test cases and test scripts to conduct thorough testing of Oracle HRHD configurations to ensure accuracy, reliability, and compliance with client needs

      · Guide clients towards best practices with a teaching mentality

      · Collaborate with Core HR Lead and offshore team members, especially for technical components

      · Provide end-user training to client to ensure smooth adoption of Oracle HRHD solutions.

      · Offer ongoing support, troubleshooting, and maintenance services to ensure the continued effectiveness and efficiency of Oracle HRHD systems.

      · Maintain documentation of project implementations, configurations, and changes to assist with future troubleshooting and upgrades.

      Duties/Responsibilities:

      · Maintain and pursue continuing education opportunities, such as training and certification exams.

      · Participate on internal projects.

      · Provide expertise and help to others, as needed, on projects.

      · Performs other duties as assigned.

      Competency:

      · A thorough understanding of Oracle Cloud solutions and functionality including Oracle Fusion applications and Oracle Redwood architecture.

      · Thorough understanding of more general information technology procedures and practices.

      · Understanding of integration methodologies such as REST and SOAP.

      · Flexible to changing needs.

      · Organized with attention to detail.

      · Be pro-active regarding all project activities and act to follow-up in a timely fashion

      · Ability to get hands-on with the application configuration and testing.

      · Work effectively within a matrixed team of on-shore and off-shore Apex IT resources as well as client on-shore and off-shore resources.

      · Excellent verbal and written communication skills

      · Excellent analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

      · Thorough understanding of SCM principles and planning.

      · Proficient with, or able to quickly become proficient with, a range of general and specialized applications, software, and hardware used in the organization and the industry.

      · Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

      Supervisory Responsibilities:

      · May assist with training members of the technical staff.

      · May conduct interviews.

      · Assigns duties and responsibilities and oversees workflow of project staff.

      · May conduct project performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.

      Work Environment:

      The work environment is remote or on-site at a client location. While remote, employees are expected to provide office space for themselves with a professional background (including virtual backgrounds) and noise level. A reliable and consistent internet connection is required.

      Physical Requirements:

      · Prolonged periods sitting or standing at a desk and working on a computer.

      · Bending, sitting, lifting, and/or driving.

      Position Type and expected hours of work:

      · Full-time work during Apex IT business hours and, at times, outside of business hours, if required.

      Required Education and Experience:

      · Bachelor’s degree in Computer or Information Science-related field or commensurate experience required.

      · Successful completion of 2-3 implementations of HR Helpdesk (HRHD) including at least 1 with Oracle Digital Assistant (ODA)

      · Exposure to HRHD for use with Union Grievances, Health & Safety incidents, Performance Improvement Plans or other specialized use of HRHD outside of standard ticketing functionality of HRHD

      · Understanding of HR processes and best practices to help guide clients on relevant topics to help create engaging and useful content for their knowledge article library in addition to existing internal process-based articles

      · Knowledge of Cloud security

      · Experience with Cloud notifications and reporting/analytics in order to help create solid communication and awareness strategies in HRHD design

      · Proven ability to grasp complex client requirements and translate them into innovative solutions, especially in contexts involving unions, health and safety, and disciplinary actions within HRHD and ODA.
