Job Location: Columbus, Ohio - Columbus, OHSalary Range: $16.00 - $19.00 HourlyDescription
POSITION SUMMARY:
Receiving, reviewing and uploading physician orders for our home health care company. High-level of customer service with interacting with physicians offices to obtain orders.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSABILITES:
1.) Obtain specific physician orders for patients and upload to patient page in our home health portal2.) Ensures that physicians orders are communicated to agency clinicians and staff with accuracy and thoroughness.
3.) Reports and/or troubleshoots missing or incomplete documentation4.) Meet Orders Team daily productivity requirements
5.) Uses office and other patient care software, including Microsoft Word and Excel6.) Works closely with outside physicians office personnel to get orders in a timely manner, including frequent phone calls and operation of fax machine. Great customer service and problem-solving skills required!
7.) Performs other specific projects relating to data entry and computer operations as required.
8.) Maintains confidentiality of patient and organization information at all times
Qualifications
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
1. High school degree or equivalent
2. Preferably two years of experience in healthcare data entry
3. Ability to work independently or as an active member of a team
4. Strong computer skills in data entry, Microsoft Excel and Word applications, must type 50 WPM
5. Accurate and precise attention to detail
6. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
