      At a glance

      • Working pattern/flexible working - This is a hybrid working role, therefore your time will primarily be split between working from home and the London/Bracknell Head Office. However, there will also be an expectation to visit other locations as the need arises.
      • Salary range - The salary range for this role is set at £69,300 - £110,500
      • Contract type - This is fixed-term contract until end March 2025 (internally known as a secondment)

      About the role

      The Organisation Effectiveness team have an opportunity for an Organisation Design Lead for a fixed-term contract/secondment until end March 2025.

      As one of four Organisation Design Leads, a large part of your role will involve People Managing a team of Organisation Design Managers and Consultants, working on Projects across the Partnership. You will be accountable for the performance, coaching and mentoring of the team, ensuring task management is delivered to project and policy specifications and timelines.

      You will be responsible for collaborating with business leads to diagnose and design organisation change, including shaping the Partner Approach and coordinating across the People and Employment legal teams to ensure the effective delivery of these projects. As part of this you may sit on various project steering committees providing People function leadership and ensuring requirements are understood and delivered by the broader People team. You will need to be able to have an impact influencing senior stakeholders to ensure the right outcomes for the business.

      As part of this role you will be responsible for the shaping and delivery of best practice approach, processes and systems in respect to Organisation Design and Delivery and ensuring these are adopted across the People team.

      The ability to swiftly develop and apply knowledge and expertise will be of primary importance, whilst effectively being able to adapt your approach and style of leadership depending on your audience and situation.

      At a time of transformation in the Partnership you will also need to be comfortable with ambiguity and be prepared to be flexible in your role and agile in the use of insight and feedback to prepare for and react to the changes that come along. You should be comfortable and confident to re prioritise where necessary.

      Please note: Previous HR experience is essential for this role.



      What you'll be doing?

      In this role you will share collective responsibility with other Partners in the

      same role for:

      ● Managing (People Management and Task Management) a team of

      Organisation Design Managers and Organisation Design

      Consultants

      ● Providing leadership and support for Partners to enable them to deliver their role

      outcomes

      ● Supporting them in their personal and professional development,

      ● Prioritising their activity and ensuring outcomes are delivered to

      agreed standards and timelines

      ● Being the escalation route for Partners when needed.

      ● Lead Partners within multi-disciplinary and matrix teams to achieve and deliver

      work, in line with business outcomes and with the voice of the Customer at the

      heart of decision making.

      ● Lead the scoping and definition of Partner and organisation change requirements, during

      business shaping and assessment of change, feeding these into the People

      profession impact and People team Portfolio of change.

      Lead shaping and design of the required Partner Approach, ensuring all policy, legal and Partner experience requirements are met.

      ● Lead deployed OD resources through agreed change initiatives and associated Partner Approach (typically across multiple ED areas) ensuring organisation design and Partner

      change activity achieves business outcomes and supports organisation

      effectiveness.

      ● Work with business change teams (T&C, Change Profession, Internal Communications) and the People team to improve effectiveness of end-to-end change in the Partnership.

      ● Lead the development of Organisation Design & Development practice across

      the Partnership.

      Collaborating with the broader extended People Leadership Team to drive performance of the People team and enable delivery of our Partnership Plan.

      Essential skills you’ll need:-
