      Job summary

      The Bank role of OD Consultant will be a visible, inclusive and collaborative leader, ensuring delivery of the Trust's vision to being a lead provider of outstanding, compassionate care. They will provide leadership and advice in all matters relating to Organisational Development. Reporting to the Head of OD and Staff Engagement, this role will work collaboratively with colleagues across the People Directorate, Corporate and Operational colleagues to lead the development, delivery and evaluation of OD interventions across the organisation, with a view to supporting Trust-wide cultural change.

      Main duties of the job

      • Operate as an internal OD consultant; contract, develop, facilitate and evaluate a programme of OD work, tailored to meet identified needs
      • Work autonomously, guided by OD principles, policies and organisational values, to achieve defined results
      • Support the delivery of key, identified projects, working closely with the Head of OD and Staff Engagement. ormulate long-term strategic plans and facilitate a broad range of complex activities to support large-scale organisational change

      Qualifications

      Essential

      • Master's degree / or equivalent knowledge and skills gained through any combination of alternative study or employment in OD, HR or learning and development.
      • HR or OD qualification (e.g. CIPD, OD Essentials or equivalent)

      Desirable

      • Recognised teaching qualification (CTLLS/DTLLS) or equivalent
      • Recognised coaching qualification and experience of coaching leaders
      • Qualifications and experience in using psychometric and/or behavioural frameworks (e.g. Myers Briggs Type Instrument, Insight, DISC)

      Knowledge and Experience

      Essential

      • Experience of acting as an internal/external consultant, designing and delivering interventions for managers and leaders
      • oHighly experienced in facilitation with large groups where there maybe resistance to change or highly emotive

      Skills and abilities

      Essential

      • Articulate and persuasive communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, able to communicate complex information to all levels of the organisation
      • Excellent project management skills, able to plan, deliver to timescales, communicate, manage expectations, report progress
