What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist in planning outreach communication, including social media postings for the Global Engagement Office
- Help develop a global advisory board consisting of international student, faculty, and staff representatives
- Perform miscellaneous duties and projects to support the Global Engagement Office, including promoting faculty-led study abroad programs
- Meet bi-weekly with the Associate Director and/or Coordinator to discuss project progression and next steps
- Engage in tasks that require strong problem-solving and communication skills

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication abilities
- Experience with social media management
- Detail-oriented with the ability to handle confidential information
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Capacity to lift up to 25 lbs. for event support

- Familiarity with culturally relevant best practices in higher education marketing and outreach
- Experience in creating clear messaging for diverse audiences on social media
- Knowledge of equity and inclusion issues in higher education
