Must be a current Graduate student
Preference will be given to students in the field of Literature, History, Cultural Studies, Theatre, Art History
Cannot be currently enrolled in the courseKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Familiarity with Canvas platform
Ability to provide feedback and maintain confidentiality
Ability to work independently and as part of a teamPosition Summary/Job Duties:
This is an hourly Project Assistant Reader/Grader position to grade writing assignments for AAS271: Afrofuturism and Popular Culture. Grading loads are expected to be more concentrated near due dates of exams and major assignments.
This appointment does not carry any tuition remission or benefits.Physical Demands:
