Being a fall intern at Cascades is a unique opportunity to define your interests and discover your passion within the team of Joe Zilbauer for the fall of 2024!

• To design solutions that meet the customer’s needs while considering the manufacturing reality, respecting deadlines, and budget, to the customer’s / user’s satisfaction.
• Cutting and shipping sample for the sales teams and respecting deadlines
• Analyze and understand customer needs.
• Provide technical support and optimize designs.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and propose solutions.
• Find innovative manufacturing processes, materials, and finishes.
• Collaborate in the testing and prototyping of these materials and processes as required.
• Always maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Other duties related to the job.

You too, put your strengths forward:

• Pursuit of a diploma in Packaging design, or other related disciplines
• Experience with ArtiosCAD or similar software such as Cimex.
• Detail oriented, with strong listening skills.
• A questioning mindset, the desire to ask for clarification of our processes to gain a deeper understanding.
• Highly organized, problem solving, analytical and focused.
