Job Title: Painter
Job Description
Essential functions:
• Read painting requirements from blueprints.
• Hook up loads using hoisting attachments and move product into position.
• Ability to spray paint various types of coatings to the mill requirements specified by the customer’s contract specifications.
• Inspect crane for defective parts and notify supervisor of defects or malfunctions.
• Build and band loads for shipment.
• Tag loads for shipment.
• Produce a product that meets recognized standards and customer expectations by maintaining quality procedures.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor including but not limited to, cleaning, trash and scrap removal, and other production-related jobs.
• Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in an effective manner with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
• Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of area.
• Work in a safe and conscientious manner.
• Assist in yearly audited inventory process.
• Perform basic inspection functions for testing temperatures and dry/wet film thicknesses.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Frederick, Maryland.
Work Environment
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
• Completes and distributes receiving records to appropriate Planner/Production Control
• Counts, sorts incoming articles and stores articles in bins, on floor or on shelves
• Maintains records on an automated PC system, Costpoint, and manual files
• Receives pick lists from Planning and pulls material from stock to assemble kits
• Completes and distributes transfer records
• Rearranges storage as necessary to accommodate varying parts, components, and finished stock
• Maintains storage areas in clean and orderly condition
• Complies with all Company safety standards, policies, and procedures
• Issues and maintains a common office supply inventory
• Conducts cycle counting on inventory
• Conducts physical inventory on Government Property
• Computes work order costs and closes completed work packages
• Investigates problem items
• Maintains Discrepancy Report
• Prepares requisitions for office supply needs
• Punctuality to work each day and prepared to work scheduled work hours
• Supports Shipping and Receiving as necessary
• Other duties as assigned
