      Role

      Teleperformance is looking for a paralegal, or someone with legal experience or education, to join its UK Legal team.

      You will support other team members working on a wide range of legal work, as well as having the opportunity to take ownership of particular areas. You should be available to work during normal business hours five days a week. The team operates a hybrid working model, and anticipates the successful candidate would ideally be working from Teleperformance’s Head Office in Bristol two or three days per week.

      Responsibilities

      The role will involve:

      • Managing the Legal inbox & Legal shared drive
        • Monitor all incoming emails, triage and flag tasks to the right person
        • Save all files that come through to the Legal inbox in the correct folders
      • Maintaining Legal SharePoint
        • Maintaining links, uploading documents
        • Setting up new pages / folders / links
      • Contract reviews
        • Initial reviews of certain contract types, such as NDAs, and flagging issues to legal counsel as requested
        • Reviewing contracts for specific clauses
      • Contract tracking
        • Maintaining a tracker of specific contract issues /points
      • Legal research
      • Assisting other areas of the business with legal queries
      • Developing legal training for other areas of the business
      • Engaging with internal stakeholders and external parties (typically customers and suppliers, as well as external lawyers)

      The Ideal Candidate

      Key Attributes

      • Excellent attention to detail
      • Excellent written and spoken English, with the ability to discuss legal concepts in plain English with non-lawyers
      • Experience of contract matters is desirable
      • Organised, with good prioritisation skills
      • Excellent IT skills, especially familiar with Microsoft 365 tools, adapts to information systems quickly
      • Team player, able to work with others in a supporting role, assisting or leading on tasks as necessary
      • Understands when to make decisions and when to seek guidance

      Desirable Attributes / Experience

      • Experience with contract lifecycle management processes and tools
      • A good sense of business acumen and commercial awareness

      Qualifications and Experience

      • The complexity of work will be suitable for someone with legal training, education or experience (England and Wales)
      • Right to work in the UK
