What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist clients with legal issues under appropriate attorney supervision
- Provide paraprofessional legal services in areas such as affordable housing and environmental justice
- Conduct outreach and community legal education to foster strong relationships with clients and community groups
- Draft legal documents and manage case files while ensuring compliance with legal standards
- Participate in training programs and report on caseload statistics to supervisors

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Associate's Degree and paralegal certification preferred
- Minimum of two (2) years prior paralegal experience preferred
- Experience working with low-income communities or in community organizing preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Fluency in Spanish, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant computer skills
- Ability to work independently and exercise good judgment
- A strong attendance record and flexibility for evening and weekend commitments
- Willingness to travel occasionally within the service area
