What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct legal research and draft legal documents under the supervision of the Legal & Compliance Department
- Analyze issues and conduct privilege and third-party information reviews
- Evaluate contractual exposure related to lawsuits and prepare discovery materials
- Respond to subpoenas and assist attorneys in managing litigation
- Communicate and interact with various stakeholders at all levels within the organization

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 2 years of progressively responsible experience in a law office or corporate law department
- Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies or a Paralegal Certificate
- Working knowledge of pleading rules, state and federal civil procedure acts, and local court rules
- Ability to analyze facts, identify relevant legal issues, and communicate effectively
- Strong judgment and discretion in completing tasks and analyzing legal documents

- Familiarity with legal and medical terminology related to insurance
- Experience in a corporate legal environment or with litigation management
- Understanding of group division operations and products
- Ability to build trust and expand influence within teams and departments
