What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide support to attorneys on the employer's legal team in various substantive areas of law
- Act as the first-level responder to internal and external inquiries related to assigned legal responsibilities
- Review and prepare a variety of legal documents including contracts, affidavits, and legal notices
- Conduct effective research and summarize legal issues using multiple resources
- Maintain confidentiality and communicate sensitive information accurately to internal and external partners
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Associate's degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience is required
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience as a paralegal or legal assistant
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong analytic, research, and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience
- Healthcare and/or managed care experience
- Notary Public or willingness to obtain Notary and eNotary commission
