Job Description:

This role is on the Public Policy, Community Impact and Third-Party Legal team in the Legal Department. The role supports attorneys in executing legal transactions and is responsible for securing, preparing, drafting, and processing legal documents. This includes research, and the review and interpretation of legal documents for validity, content, accuracy, and compliance with procedures. This role will coordinate and track bank vendor lists and contracts for Legal, coordinate updates to procurement contract templates, and interface with outside counsel on legal issues related to the Global Third-Party Procurement program

Required Qualifications:

• Paralegal Certification or related experience
• Knowledge of legal documentation and procedures for examining, preparing, and processing legal documents
• Ability to navigate in a highly-matrix environment and proven ability to distil complex information into key messages.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills, including the ability to accurately draft, edit, and proofread communications
• Ability to work well under pressure, adapt to unexpected events, prioritize and multi-task in a deadline driven environment
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Desired Qualifications:

• Thorough knowledge of bank systems/technology, as well as the enterprise, businesses, products, core corporate functions and bank policies.
• Experience reviewing and negotiating third party documents such as various types of easements, partial releases, development rights, covenants conditions and restrictions, and declarations of covenants.
• Ability to provide legal research and guidance on various issues regarding errors in mortgage closing documents.

Pay and benefits information

Pay range

$35.05 - $55.70 hourly pay, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

This role is compensated with a base salary and is not incentive eligible.
