What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Prepare and draft a variety of legal documents, reports, and correspondence accurately and timely
- Schedule and coordinate court hearings, deadlines, and meetings, ensuring follow-up activities are conducted
- Review outgoing materials for grammar and completeness of legal documents
- Conduct case intake and initial investigative steps while collaborating with various agency units
- Maintain and organize case records, including handling voluminous documents
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum educational requirement: Associate degree in paralegal studies or a paralegal certificate
- Extensive knowledge of administrative court procedures and applicable time-frames
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret State, Federal, and local codes, laws, and regulations
- Must possess a current, valid state-issued driver’s license

- Knowledge of service of process procedures
- Experience in researching and extracting information from legal documents and court decisions
- Familiarity with legal terminology and legal forms
