What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Act as liaison among various internal departments, managing legal requests and work allocation for the Legal team
- Assist attorneys with drafting, reviewing, and revising legal documents, including contracts and legal correspondence
- Manage healthcare-related litigation tasks, including discovery and preparing documents for hearings or trials
- Maintain and organize agreements and files, ensuring compliance with legal standards
- Monitor regulatory changes impacting the healthcare industry and provide updates to the legal team

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Associates or bachelor’s degree in paralegal studies or a related field, or Paralegal certification
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience working as a paralegal in a corporate or law firm environment
- Experience in a healthcare environment preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Paralegal certification preferred; required in the absence of an Associate and/or bachelor’s degree in paralegal studies
- General familiarity with legal matters
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Proven ability to work successfully with diverse populations
- Demonstrated commitment to promoting and enhancing diversity and inclusion
