What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct legal research and analysis on regulatory matters and support compliance initiatives
- Draft, review, and revise contracts and legal documents under the direction of the General Counsel
- Develop and manage the Credit Union's legal operations and knowledge management initiatives
- Provide guidance on legal requests affecting account management and related matters
- Assist with administrative support in litigation, including case management and communication with outside counsel
What is Required (Qualifications):
- A bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certificate from an accredited organization
- At least 5-7 years of paralegal experience in a financial services company or law firm
- Strong written and oral communication skills for effective information delivery
- Ability to manage multiple high-priority projects with attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in corporate law or financial services-related legal matters
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance in the financial sector
- Proven ability to interface with diverse contacts including senior management and outside attorneys
