Derrevere Stevens Black & Cozad is searching for a highly skilled paralegal with prior New York civil litigation experience. The position is 100% work-from-home and will utilize cutting-edge legal technology. Salary is commensurate with experience.

• Minimum of 3 years previous New York civil litigation experience in a law office
• Must be competent and proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe
• Must have prior experience in managing attorney calendars/scheduling
• Must have prior experience in drafting legal documents including standardized pleadings, letters, and reports.
• Must have a working knowledge of New York court procedures and be familiar with e-service and e-filing
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of managing deadlines, and can take initiative on following up on tasks.
• Must be detail and goal oriented.
• Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced evolving environment and be a team player
