Job Description
This is a first shift position. The hours are normally 6 am to 2 pm + overtime. Parker offers a very competitive wage package, as well as flexible medical, dental, and vision plans. Parker has a 401(k) Plan with match, and a quarterly bonus program.
• Assists in development and documentation of manufacturing processes
• Produces samples and prototypes for new products in splicing
• Must be able to consistently achieve routed production rates
• Apply PSA as required
• Track hourly production
• Precision cuts parts to length (hand cut and auto cutters)
• Pack finished parts to specification
• Set up and operate splice molds and presses for all Silicone and Organic products
• Develop SPC charts as required
• Visual and dimensional inspection of parts for specification conformance
• Handle own material
• Participate and engage in HPTs
• Maintain housekeeping
• Other duties/assignments as needed• Knowledge of basic math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
• Must be able to read, write, and comprehend English
• Must be able to read simple blueprints
• Knowledge and/or use of micrometers, calipers, and gages
• Use tools (Allen wrenches, molds and tooling, open/box end wrenches, and screw drivers)
• Keep accurate and legible records
• Stand for extended periods of time
• Must participate in High Performance Teams
• Handle/lift up to 40 lbs. routinely
• Work flexible hours, as neededMust pass a Corporate Background Check and drug screening.
