Position Summary
Answers the telephone, greets visitors, and provides information regarding parking rules and regulations to students, faculty, staff, and the public. Interprets parking citation complaints and decides if citations may be appealed according to department procedure. Maintains accountability for and reconciles the cash drawer. Processes and balances a cash drawer. Decides appropriate parking locations and issues parking permits. Data Entry, various programs used. Composes correspondence to resolve problems with parking citation payments or to answer complaints and concerns. Answering Zendesk ticket inquiries. Processing online permit sales by preparing envelopes and permits for mailing. Other miscellaneous office tasks as assigned.
Unit Specific Education/Experience/Skills
Knowledge normally acquired through a high school education; one to three years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in data entry, balancing cash drawers, word processing, or data base management; or an equivalent combination of education or experience.
Desired Qualifications
Strong verbal communication skills, cashiering experience. Knowing flex software.
